The aim of ISOBUS technology is the creation of efficient complete systems for problem-free communication between tractors, electronics and implements. Thus the ISOBUS standard opens up the possibility for you to link your machines with those of other manufacturers without compatibility problems or quality losses. In concrete terms, this means that the user can exchange data between machines from different manufacturers via a standardized ISOBUS terminal. This results in a significant advantage in terms of customer orientation and practicability for you and your machines.

AEF - The Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation
The AEF is an independent organisation which was founded in 2008 with the aim of facilitating the work processes of farmers and agricultural service providers and making these processes more economic. The core theme is to improve the compatibility of electronic components in agricultural equipment across manufacturers and to ensure transparency in questions of compatibility. At the present time, eight international agricultural equipment manufacturers, three associations and a further 200 companies are committed to the AEF.
The AEF and our commitment
We have been an active member of AEF since 2012. Our motivation consists in the further development of existing international electronic standards as well as in the advancement of innovations and new technologies in agricultural engineering. To achieve these goals, we are involved in various AEF working groups and also participate in the annual AEF events.

From the idea to the finished product – all development steps for the company's proprietary software products are carried out exclusively at the two German company locations.
After LACOS had been announced as one the finalists for the Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses in 2016, the company was one of 30 companies in 2017 to be awarded the Medium-Sized Business Prize.

In accordance with the consulting guidelines of the Free State of Thuringia, the company receives a subsidy to increase its performance and competitiveness by providing advice from independent management consultants - intensive consulting and process support. The results and recommendations for action will be recorded in a consultant report. The funding is provided by the European Social Fund and state funds from the Free State of Thuringia.
